Tankerska Next Generation Inc. is a shipping joint stock company registered in Zadar, Croatia. TNG’s focus is on services of worldwide seaborne transportation of refined petroleum and some chemical products and intends to employ the majority of the fleet on multi-year time charters.
TNG’s fleet currently consists of six modern MR2 Product tanker vessels. There are two modern MR2 ice class product tankers (MT Velebit and MT Vinjerac; built in 2011) and four MR2 eco-design tankers (MT Zoilo, MT Vukovar, Mt Dalmacija and MT Pag; built in 2015). Total fleet capacity is 300.000 dwt, with the average fleet age which makes TNG’s fleet one of the youngest in the industry.
The main markets in which the Company operates is the international maritime transport of oil products and edible oils. Therefore, TNG provides transport services to oil majors, national oil companies, oil and chemical traders and various other entities that depend on sea transport worldwide.
The Company’s strategy is to be a reliable, efficient and responsible provider of seaborne refined petroleum product transportation services and to manage and expand the Group in a manner that is believed will enable the Company to increase its distributable cash flow, enhance its ability to pay dividends and maximize value to its shareholders.
In implementing the strategy, TNG has the strong support of the fleet manager in Tankerska plovidba, which is recognized and respected player in the tanker segment with a long and strong reputation and access to key costumers.
Tankerska Next Generation Inc. share (TPNG-R-A) was listed on the official market of Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) until December 22, 2022.
Based on Art. 340, paragraphs 2 and 3 of the Capital Market Act (Official Gazette 65/18, 17/20, 83/21) and Art. 152. t. 5. in connection with Art. 158, paragraph 1 and Art. 154, paragraphs 2, 3 and 4 of the Stock Exchange Rules, the cessation of listing on the Official Market of 8,733,345 ordinary shares of Tankerska Next Generation d.d. was carried out on December 22, 2022 by Decision of the Management Board of Zagreb Stock Exchange d.d.
Given that after the implementation of the corporate action of transferring the shares of minority shareholders to the main shareholder, the Issuer of the shares has only one shareholder and does not meet the condition of distribution of shares to the public as prescribed in Art. 95, paragraphs 2 and 3 of the Stock Exchange Rules, as a condition for listing on the Official Market, the Stock Exchange issued a Decision to suspend and terminate the listing of TPNG shares.
Tankerska Next Generation Inc. was incorporated in August 2014, followed by Tankerska Plovidba contributing its 2 existing conventional MR product tankers, financial funds and one fully funded eco-design newbuild with expected delivery in Q4 2015 (MT Dalmacija).
In February 2015 other investors had the opportunity to partake in the IPO of TNG. HRK 208m (USD 31m) was raised in the process (HRK 65 per share).
The funds raised through the IPO, together with bank debt, were utilized to acquire two newbuilding contracts for MR vessels (MT Vukovar and MT Zoilo). First of two, MT Zoilo was delivered and immediately employed in April just 78 days after the IPO, while the second (MT Vukovar) was delivered and employed in July 2015.
TNG’s capital raising continued in June 2015. The management saw a good opportunity for the acquisition of another newbuilding vessel; the major shareholders contributed another HRK 104m (USD 16m) in June 2015. TNG has utilized raised funds in July and acquired the contract for a newbuilding vessel (MT Pag) which was delivered in December 2015.
Therefore, today TNG's fleet has 6 MR tankers, each with a capacity of 50,000 DWT, which amounts to a total of 300,000 dwt. Vessels of Tankerska Next Generation are employing well educated and homogeneous crew, which counts approximately 300 shipman, both on sea and land.

At the Lider Invest 2016 award ceremony held at the Hotel Westin in Zagreb, the expert committee headed by Mr. Mladen Vedriš, a full time professor of University of Zagreb Faculty of Law, awarded Tankerska Next Generation (TNG) with a Special Lider Invest recognition for setting up the company and building a specialized fleet of product tankers.
